What we collect
This website is a static site. It has no accounts, no comment system, no contact form and no advertising or analytics trackers. We do not set cookies to identify or profile you.
The site stores a single item in your browser's local storage
(mb-theme) to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme.
That value never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
When you email us
If you email us to place an order or ask a question, we receive whatever you include in that message — typically your name, email address, shipping address and order details. We use it only to answer you and fulfil your order. We keep order correspondence as long as needed for our business records and tax obligations, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs, which may include your IP address, browser user agent and the pages you requested. These are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained for a short period by the provider.
Payments
We do not collect or store payment card details on this website. Payments are handled outside the site; if we add online checkout in future, card data will be processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider and will not touch our servers.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@mrukku-bites.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
